Visitor Information

  • Electronic Ticketing System

At the SMiSA Stadium we have an electronic ticketing system in place at the turnstiles.

The process of using the system is fairly straight-forward and easy to use:

    • On entering the turnstile you will see the ticket reader.
    • Place your match ticket (with the barcode or QR code facing upwards) or smartcard – into the aperture
    • Once the ticket/smartcard is accepted into the system the green light will illuminate and an audio alert will sound after which you should hear the turnstile being unlocked
    • Push the turnstile gate and enter the stadium as you normally would.

The whole process will only take a few seconds.

Please note that there will be stewards in attendance to help where required.

  • Street Parking on Matchday

The Club has been made aware of problems occasioned by inconsiderate parking in the area of Tannahill Road.

Seemingly supporters are parking despite the presence of double yellow lines and as a consequence local bus routes are also being blocked because streets in this area are narrow and fans are parking on both sides. People, many of whom are elderly, are having to walk from Greenhill Road to their homes because buses can’t get access.

Residents who have cars parked in driveways are experiencing similar difficulties getting their vehicles in and out. On being approached by local residents some supporters have been somewhat aggressive which could lead to confrontation.

St Mirren Football Club strives to be a good neighbour and we would ask that ALL supporters attending the stadium not only park in accordance with local parking restrictions but also give consideration to the needs of local residents by parking sensibly so as not to occasion an unnecessary obstruction.

  • Picking Up & Dropping Off by Car on Match Day

We are also aware of problems with patrons parking at the front of the Main Stand to pick up disabled supporters at the end of the game. This area is a 'no parking' zone on match days (with cones on the road) and has to be kept clear for emergency access. It is an inappropriate location for disabled spectator uplifts, as not only does it cause an obstruction on the road, it also causes a danger to pedestrians leaving the stadium.

Please note that the designated pick-up/drop off points are either in Drums Avenue or the two lay-byes on Ferguslie Park Avenue.

  • Finding the SMiSA Stadium

  • Getting to the SMiSA Stadium

    BY ROAD

Follow signs for Paisley & Glasgow Airport. Exit the M8 at Junction 29 (St James’ Interchange) which is just after Glasgow Airport turn off if travelling east to west. Follow this road and after a sharp right hand bend you should now be in Greenock Road. Then take your first right on to Clark Street and drive to the end of the street which is the junction with Greenhill Road, turn left and you will see the stadium on the opposite side of the road.

From there you can get train to Paisley St James or if you prefer to walk the following routes are advised by the police:

Jacob Devaney joins on loan from Manchester United

St Mirren Football Club is delighted to announce the loan signing of Jacob Devaney from Manchester United, subject to international clearance.

The 18-year-old midfielder joins Saints from the English giants until the end of the season.

Named Manchester United Youth Scholar of the Year in May 2025, Devaney is a highly-rated prospect at Old Trafford and captains the Red Devils' U21 side where he has made 22 appearances this season. The Yorkshire-born midfielder has also been capped six times by Republic of Ireland at U21 level.

Speaking on the move, Jacob told stmirren.com: "I’m very excited.

"It’s a great opportunity for me to come here, do well and try to help the lads finish the season strong.

"As soon as the offer came up it was something that me and my family looked at, and thought was a great opportunity. I see it as a big step in my career to go and prove myself. Everything he [the manager] said was really positive and that’s why I’m here today.

I’m a hard-working midfielder," he continued.

"I cover a lot of distance, I do a bit at both ends defending and like to get forward as well. Something I’ve worked on this season is my finishing, scoring goals and getting assists and I’ve added that this year."

Jacob Devaney at The SMiSA Stadium

Manager Stephen Robinson added: "Jacob gives us something that we haven't got.

"We haven't really replaced Caolan Boyd-Munce and with Keanu [Baccus] being injured we haven't had that link between defence and midfield in recent weeks.

"He's a really highly thought of young player at Manchester United so we're looking forward to getting him involved. He's been playing U21 football for Manchester United on a regular basis and with our injuries he could get thrown in at the deep end, but we believe he's got a mentality to handle that and is someone we feel can make an impact."

Evan Mooney joins Arsenal on a permanent deal

St Mirren Football Club can confirm that Evan Mooney has departed the club to join English Premier League side Arsenal on a permanent deal.

While the terms of the deal remain confidential, the club has secured a substantial fee with potential for significant future add-ons and a sizeable sell-on clause.

A St Mirren Youth Academy graduate, Evan made 23 appearances for the Buddies since making his first-team debut in October 2024, scoring one goal in a 3-2 win over St Johnstone in the William Hill Premiership.

Manager Stephen Robinson said: "It's a fantastic opportunity for Evan at a club the size of Arsenal.

"It was a terrific deal for the club as well and we're very well protected in terms of adds on and sell on should Evan go on to fulfil the potential that we believe that he has.

"Evan, his family and advisers were very keen to go to Arsenal and we wish him nothing but good luck."

We sincerely thank Evan for his efforts during his time at St Mirren and wish him the very best of luck in his future career.

Form

The Buddies head into Tuesday's match on the back of a three match unbeaten run. Despite being reduced to 10 men on Saturday, Saints managed to pick up a point at home to Dundee following a goalless draw. That came after a 1-1 draw away to Livingston in the William Hill Premiership and a penalty shoot-out victory over the Lions in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup.

A win on Tuesday evening would move Saints up to ninth place in the William Hill Premiership with Dundee not playing until Wednesday night.

League leaders Hearts stretched their lead at the top of the table to six points following a 3-0 win away to Dundee United on Saturday night. That, coupled with Rangers' draw away to Hibernian, saw Derek McInnes' side go further ahead in their search to win the title for the first time since 1960.

Saints are unbeaten in two home matches against the Jam Tarts this season. The first saw Stephen Robinson's men progress on penalties in the Premier Sports Cup in August. Neither side could be separated after a 1-1 draw and the Buddies would prevail in the shoot-out. The Buddies were held by Hearts when they visited in October in league action. Goals from Dan Nlundulu and Miguel Freckleton twice had Saints ahead. Freckleton thought he'd made it 3-1 to Saints only to see his goal controversially ruled out. Hearts would then equalise through Claudio Braga to take a share of the spoils in a 2-2 draw.

Hearts were victorious when the sides met at Tynecastle last month with Derek McInnes' side winning 2-0.

10 men Saints pick up point following goalless draw

Saints battled to a hard-fought point against Dundee at the SMiSA Stadium after having to play the final half hour with 10 men.

The first-half was a non-event, although both sides missed a sitter. Cameron Congreve was the guilty party for Dundee, unable to slot home after Shamal George fumbled a cross, before Richard King put his shot wide at the other end after a superb Saints counter attack.

The Buddies improved after the break but just after failing to get the break of the ball at a penalty box scramble they were reduced to 10 men, Jake Young show a straight red for his challenge on Brad Halliday. That seemed to galvanise Saints and they had the better of the chances when Dan Nlundulu crossed for fellow sub Mikael Mandron but he put it wide while under pressure.

It was a much changed Saints team to the one which had drawn at Livingston 10 days ago. There was a new look strikeforce in the shape of January recruits Jake Young and Kion Etete with Tunmise Sobowale handed his first league start and Scott Tanser also coming into the side. Declan John, Conor McMenamin, Mikael Mandron and Jayden Richardson were the four who made way. The visitors handed a debut to Brad Halliday and Joel Cotterill made his first start, with the dangerous Simon Murray leading the attack.

Saints had an early let off when Shamal George failed to gather Tony Yogane's cross, the ball falling invitingly for Cameron Congreve but he could only stab it wide with the goal at his mercy. The Buddies had a tremendous chance when they broke from a Dundee corner, Etete carrying the ball forward before sliding it out wide for the charging Alex Gogic. He delivered a cross to Richard King at the back post and he looked set to fire Saints in front but fluffed his lines and sent his effort wide.

Halliday's attempt to mark his Dundee debut with a goal was deflected wide and although the first corner was dealt with, the second delivery sat up invitingly for Drey Wright at the edge of the box but he lashed it miles off target. Ethan Hamilton and Yan Dhada at least found the target with their shots from distance but both were straight at George. In between, Young did well to charge into the visitors' box before going down under the challenge of a defender, however both ref Nick Walsh and VAR were unmoved by the penalty appeals – which seemed to come more from the Saints support rather than the players.

There was a double change for Saints at the break, Mandron and Richardson replacing Etete and Sobiwale. That led to the home side's brightest spell of the match so far, although they were unable to use it to create much with it, Tanser's go on the half volley from the edge of the box straight down the throat of Dee keeper Jon McCracken. At the other end, Congreve got the better of his man to send in a teasing ball that Marcus Fraser – making his 250th Saints appearance – put behind. Some penalty box pinball from a Saints corner saw the ball eventually break to Roland Idowu at the edge of the area, his shot taking a couple of deflections on its way through to McCracken.

Marcus Fraser was making his 250th appearance

Just as Saints seemed to be building some momentum, they were dealt a huge blow when Young was shown a straight red for a challenge on Halliday – ref Nick Walsh wasting no time in giving the striker his marching orders with VAR confirming his decision. Murray headed wide at the back post as the visitors looked to make their advantage count before Saints went close on the break, Gogic releasing sub Dan Nlundulu whose cross found Mandron but he was unable to turn it home. That proved to be the closest either side would come, the teams having to make do with a point apiece that does neither side any favours.

St Mirren FC welcomes Gary Peebles to board of directors

St Mirren Football Club is pleased to announce that Gary Peebles will join the club’s Board of Directors.

Gary joins as the new Kibble representative, succeeding Jim Gillespie, who resigned earlier this month to become the CEO at Rangers.

A former Saints player, Gary signed for St Mirren in June 1984 before departing to join Partick Thistle in 1989. Gary would also have spells in Northern Ireland with the likes of Linfield, Portadown, Newry Town and Ards.

Gary joins the Board and adds a wealth of leadership experience, having served as Head of Operations at Kibble since 1995. In this role, he has managed services within Kibble’s open school and secure unit, while also being a trainer in Safe Crisis Management and Response Ability Pathways via the Reclaiming Youth Organisation.

Speaking on his appointment, Gary said: "I am delighted to be given the opportunity to serve on the St Mirren board. I have been a supporter from a young age and was fortunate to have played for the club in the mid 1980s.

This has been a fantastic period in the history of the club and I look forward to working alongside everyone to continue the great work that has been done both on and off the pitch."

St Mirren Chairman John Needham added: "We look forward to welcoming Gary to the St Mirren Board. Gary knows the club well as a lifelong St Mirren supporter and having played for the club in the 1980s."

Minute's Applause

  • Getting to the SMiSA Stadium

    BY ROAD

Follow signs for Paisley & Glasgow Airport. Exit the M8 at Junction 29 (St James’ Interchange) which is just after Glasgow Airport turn off if travelling east to west. Be careful not to exit on to the A737 which is signposted for Irvine. It is best to stay in the middle lane when passing the Airport as this leads naturally to the St James’ Interchange exit.

At the interchange take the first left onto a dual carriageway with some football parks on the left hand side. Follow this road and after a sharp right hand bend you should now be in Greenock Road. Then take your first right on to Clark Street and drive to the end of the street which is the junction with Greenhill Road, turn left and you will see the stadium on the opposite side of the road.
