Following the conclusion of the 2024/25 season, the club can now provide supporters with a squad update.
The core of the squad remains in place, with a number of players contracted for the upcoming season.
St Mirren Player of the Year, Killian Phillips will become a permanent addition, as we trigger our obligation to buy. The 23-year-old, who has just received his first call up for Republic of Ireland, will be under contract until summer 2026. The club also holds a year option to extend the deal until summer 2027. St Mirren Youth Academy graduate Luke Kenny has also agreed a one-year contract extension.
We say goodbye to Dennis Adeniran, Caolan Boyd-Munce, Elvis Bwomono, Owen Foster, Gallagher Lennon and Richard Taylor who will all move on following the expiry of their contracts. We thank all departing players for their respective contributions and wish them all the best of luck in whatever comes next.
Ryan Alebiosu, Zach Hemming and Roland Idowu all return to their respective parent clubs following the expiry of their loan deals. Discussions are ongoing with all three players’ parent clubs as we look to bring them back to the club for next season. [UPDATE] Roland Idowu will join the club on a permanent deal on Sunday 15th June following the expiry of his loan agreement.
The club is continuing the hard work behind the scenes to add to the core of players already under contract for next season.
