Rounding off a week of hard work in Spain

St Mirren ended a week of hard work in Spain with a goalless draw against Club Costa City.

It was another good opportunity for Craig McLeish's side to build up their fitness in the intense Spanish heat with 22 players given minutes in the closed door match. The match rounded off a week of strenuous work at the Pinatar Arena as we stepped up our efforts to be ready for season 2026/27.

Competitive action gets underway next week when we take on Dumbarton at Cliftonhill Stadium. It's our first match of Group C in the Premier Sports Cup, beginning our defence of the trophy we won in December.

St Mirren: Chapman (Tamosevicius), Richardson (Hutchison), Fraser (c) (McEvoy), Gogic (Clark), John (Falconer), Phillips (Carr), Trialist (Trialist), Ramos (Taylor), Mochrie (Idowu), Calvin (McCormick), Trialist (Young)
