Form
St Mirren's place in the play-offs were confirmed on Tuesday night despite a 2-0 win away to Aberdeen at Pittodrie. Richard King and Killian Phillips scored either side of half-time to give the Buddies victory over the Dons. But Kilmarnock's win over Dundee at Rugby Park ensure they couldn't be caught.
Craig McLeish's side, who have won three of our last seven league matches, are looking to pick up another three points to give us momentum heading into the play-off against either Partick Thistle or Dunfermline who play their second leg at Firhill on Friday night.
Saints' win over Aberdeen confirmed that Dundee United finish the season in seventh place in the William Hill Premiership. Jim Goodwin's men were held to a 0-0 draw with Livingston at Tannadice on Tuesday night. That followed defeats to both Aberdeen (0-2) and Kilmarnock (0-3). Their last victory came in the Dundee derby at the beginning of the split where they won 3-0 at home against their rivals.
Goals from Conor McMenamin and Keanu Baccus saw Saints defeat Dundee United 2-0 at The SMiSA Stadium in the Arabs' only visit to Paisley this season. United prevailed 2-1 at Tannadice when the sides last met in March. Jake Young equalised for the Buddies after a Marcus Fraser own goal, but Amar Fatah's late penalty gave United all three points.
The Officials
Steven McLean is the referee on Saturday. Duncan Williams is the VAR.
