St Mirren Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Chris Mochrie until summer 2028 subject to SFA registration.
Chris joins the Buddies on an initial two-year deal, with the club holding an option of a further year, following the expiry of his contract at Airdrieonians.
A former Scotland U21 international, Chris has made more than 200 senior appearances at the age of 23. Beginning his career at Dundee United where he played 51 times and gained experience in the William Hill Premiership, Chris has also had loan spells at Dunfermline Athletic and Montrose.
During his time at Airdrieonians, Chris netted 17 goals, seven of which came last season. He becomes our third signing of the summer following the captures of Samuel Ramos and Ryan Carr.
Speaking to stmirren.com, Chris said: "I’m buzzing, really excited to get going.
It's a big club and I'm looking forward to getting started and showing what I can do.
"I met with the manager and everything he was saying was aligned with the way I think. It was a pretty easy decision from there on in and I’m delighted that's happened.
"The last couple of years have been massive for me. Going to Airdrie and getting a lot of games has really helped me and hopefully I can bring that experience here and show what I can do."

Manager Craig McLeish added: "Chris is someone that I've known since he was really young, coming through the performance schools and the youth national team squads.
"He was always a player that I really enjoyed watching, loved how he moved with the ball so effortlessly. I really liked watching him play as he was coming through the system, then he broke into Dundee United quite early.
I don't think you'll find many players at his age that have played the amount of football that he has. He's one that we're excited about.
"He handles the ball really well and he gives us a threat at the top end of the pitch. He’s a really honest boy that works hard and just needs a platform now to then go and try to get to the next level again.
"He's one that we feel can go and play at an even higher level and hopefully we can give him the platform to do that."
