St Mirren Football Club was saddened to hear of the passing of its ex-player Drew Provan who passed away on Friday 12th May.
Drew joined St Mirren from Port Glasgow in July 1961 and made nine appearances before leaving to join Barnsley in April 1963. A winger in his playing days, Drew had a long career that saw him turn out for the likes of York, Chester, Wrexham, Southport, Philadelphia Atoms, Torquay United and Bath City before retiring from professional football.
The thoughts of all at St Mirren are with the family and friends of Drew at this difficult time.
