The St Mirren Colts progressed to the fourth round of the Tunnock's Caramel Wafer Cup for the first time after a 1-0 win over Stirling Albion at the Simple Digital Arena this afternoon.
Cameron MacPherson drilled home from the edge of the area on 79 minutes to see the Young Buddies through to the next round.
Dean Lyness was named man-of-the-match after saving a first-half penalty from Max Wright and making wonderful stops in the second-half to deny Danny Jardine and Wright.
The draw for the fourth round will take place on Tuesday afternoon at 12:30pm.
