Form
St Mirren go into Saturday's match as Premier Sports Cup winners. Marcus Fraser opened the scoring at Hampden on Sunday before a second-half double from Jonah Ayunga saw us defeat Celtic 3-1 and win our fifth major trophy.
The Buddies picked up three points in the William Hill Premiership prior to the Premier Sports Cup Final with a 2-0 win over Dundee United at The SMiSA Stadium. Goals from Conor McMenamin and Keanu Baccus saw pick up their first league victory since September.
Saints sit in ninth place in the William Hill Premiership - five points ahead of Saturday's opponents who sit at the foot of the table.
Livingston battled back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Dundee on Saturday. David Martindale's side fell behind after two quickfire first-half goals, but goals from Jeremy Bokila and Tete Yengi saw the Lions pick up a point. The Lions' sole league victory came in August when they defeated Falkirk 3-1 at the Home of the Set Fare Arena.
Livingston were victorious in the last meeting between the two sides back in February 2024 with Yengi on the scoresheet in a 1-0 win in West Lothian. Saints have won their last three home fixtures against the Lions, winning 1-0, 3-0 and 2-1.
The Officials
Chris Graham is the referee on Sunday. Andrew Dallas is the VAR.
