On behalf of myself and my fellow directors, I want to thank you all for your incredible support throughout what has been another memorable season for our football club. Your support helps drive the club forward and we are immensely grateful for your continued loyalty. I can assure you it’s not taken for granted.
You have continued to back us in such brilliant numbers throughout the past two seasons as we continue to smash attendances records with increasing regularity.
We are all hugely excited about the prospect of hosting European football for the first time ever at the SMiSA Stadium with a new generation of supporters getting the opportunity to see our great club in European football. It has been almost 40 years since St Mirren was involved in European football and huge credit must go to our manager Stephen Robinson, his coaching staff, all our players, our operational staff and our dedicated volunteers for their continued hard work to drive the club forward on and off the park.
We look forward to announcing details and arrangements of our European fixtures once these are drawn in the coming weeks so please keep an eye out for these exciting updates.
We should all take great pride in the fact we continue to showcase our community spirit with our charity partnerships with Home-Start Renfrewshire & Inverclyde and the St Mirren Charitable Foundation, as well as the continued success of our ‘Help a Buddie' scheme, our school ticket initiatives, foodbank drives and more. We’ll continue to look after our community with these and more schemes next season.
There have been challenges as well, but with your unwavering support, we continue to make good progress on and off the park. In recognition of your ever increasing support we have taken the decision to limit the increase in Season Ticket prices for 2024/25 to c.5%.
It’s important to note that we continue to offer one of the lowest priced season ticket packages in the Scottish Premiership. For example, an early bird adult ticket in the Main or West Stand costs just £19.50 per match based on 19 home league matches, while an early bird adult ticket in the Tony Fitzpatrick Family Stand works out at just £17.63 per match. Concessions are only £9.21 per match in the Main and West Stand and just £7.90 per match in the Tony Fitzpatrick Family Stand.
Added to that, our family ticket provides amazing value, working out at just £35 per family of five on early bird. We are keen to be as inclusive as possible and feel this is a really cost effective option for a family day out.
We have further introduced a new junior category for 12-17 year olds with affordable pricing to allow us to continue to build on the momentum of this generation of supporters.
There will be a three-week loyalty period for existing Season Ticket holders to retain their seats and we have compiled all the detailed information you’ll need ahead of season tickets going on sale. This will be provided to you via email when the tickets go on sale, on Thursday 16th May.
Given the team’s success on the park over the past two seasons, as well as the hard work we undertake to showcase how important our community is to us, we hope to break even more records in terms of Season Ticket sales for 2024/25. I urge you to sign up as soon as you can and help us smash the 4,000 sales barrier yet again this year.
