Alex Gogic's late goal saw Saints take a share of the spoils away to Livingston on Tuesday night and put an end to a run of four league defeats on the bounce. That point saw us move five clear of Kilmarnock in 11th and remain eight ahead of bottom side Livingston.
Dundee United sit in seventh place in the William Hill Premiership, six points ahead of the Buddies and five behind Falkirk who occupy the final top six spot. Jim Goodwin's side picked up their first win of 2026 after a 2-0 victory over Ayr United at Tannadice in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup. Their last league win came away to Livingston in their final match of 2025. The Arabs defeated the Lions 3-1 at The Home of the Set Fare Arena.
Both sides boast a win apiece in the two meetings between the two this season. Conor McMenamin and Keanu Baccus were on the scoresheet in a 2-0 win for Saints at The SMiSA Stadium in December. United prevailed 3-1 when the sides met at Tannadice in October.
