The Buddies go into Tuesday night's match following our penalty shoot-out victory over Livingston in the Scottish Cup on Saturday. Roland Idowu gave Saints an early lead before Scott Arfield levelled for the hosts. Evan Mooney, Marcus Fraser, Liam Donnelly and Malik Dijksteel all netted from the penalty spot to see Saints progress to the Fifth Round of the Scottish Cup.
Our last league victory came on 20th December when we defeated Livingston 1-0 at The SMiSA Stadium thanks to Mikael Mandron's second-half goal.
Livingston's only league win this season came back in August when the Lions defeated Falkirk 3-1 at The Home of the Set Fare Arena.
Saints sit eight points ahead of Livingston in the William Hill Premiership and know a win could move them 11 clear of the bottom and seven clear of 11th place Kilmarnock. A win for Livingston would lift them to within a point of Kilmarnock in their hopes to avoid relegation.
