St Mirren drew 0-0 with Kilmarnock at The SMiSA Stadium on Saturday to stretch their unbeaten run to five matches in all competitions. Saints remain in ninth position in the William Hill Premiership.
Rangers moved up to third in the table with a 1-0 victory over Motherwell at Ibrox on Saturday. A second-half goal from Thelo Aasgaard was enough to give Danny Rohl's side all three points and see them leapfrog the Steelmen in the league. That win came off the back of Rangers' first league defeat since the appointment of Danny Rohl in October with the Ibrox men falling to a 2-1 defeat to Hearts at Tynecastle prior to Christmas.
Saints are unbeaten in their last four matches against the Ibrox side, winning two and drawing two. It finished 1-1 in the the only meeting between the two sides this season. Jonah Ayunga opened the scoring for the Buddies before a late deflected strike from Findlay Curtis saw Rangers take a share of the spoils.
Goals from Mikael Mandron and Toyosi Olusanya saw the Buddies win 2-0 on our last trip to Ibrox back in February. The two second-half strikes gave Saints a first victory in Govan since 1991.

Mikael Mandron scored the opener in a 2-0 win on our last visit to Ibrox
