Richard King's injury-time goal saw Saints take a share of the spoils away at Aberdeen on Wednesday night. Marcus Fraser and Jonah Ayunga were also on the scoresheet as the Buddies battled out a 3-3 draw at Pittodrie.
Dundee United were denied all three points at home to Rangers on Wednesday when Nedim Bajrami scored an injury-time penalty for the Glasgow side in a 2-2 draw at Tannadice.
United sit in eighth place in the William Hill Premiership, five points ahead of Saints.
The Arabs took the points when the sides met in October at Tannadice. Dan Nlundulu gave Saints the lead, but Zach Sapsford equalised before half-time. Alex Gogic was shown a late red card and Dundee United would take full advantage with Amar Fatah scoring from the penalty spot on 84 minutes before Craig Sibbald secured a 3-1 win in the final minutes.
Our last victory against United came in May when goals from Mikael Mandron and Jonah Ayunga saw us win 2-0 at Tannadice.
