St Mirren Football Club can confirm that goalkeeper Ross Sinclair has joined the club on a seven-day emergency loan from St Johnstone subject to approval.
Capped by Scotland at U21 level, Ross has made 15 appearances for St Johnstone including 11 in the William Hill Premiership last season. The 24-year-old joins us ahead of Saturday’s match against Livingston following injuries to Shamal George and Ryan Mullen.
We can confirm that Ryan will undergo surgery after a 4C tear in his thigh that is set to rule him out for at least three months. Our thoughts are with Ryan and we wish him a speedy recovery. Shamal remains out after sustaining an injury in training last week.
Ross joins for an initial seven-day period in accordance with SPFL rules on emergency loans. We thank St Johnstone for their cooperation.
