On International Women's Day, we want to thank the women who are integral to our club, and to highlight the hard work that they undertake behind the scenes, supporting St Mirren FC.
Today, we will be shining a spotlight on the women working both as part of our operational team, and our volunteers.
Lynsey McLean, General Manager at St Mirren, said: "International Women's Day is a day to celebrate women across the world and their incredible achievements.
At St Mirren FC we want to recognise and shine a spotlight on the women who work hard behind the scenes in the club across various operations, in the lead up to, and during match days.
"Being a role model for the future generation of women in football is something that I take personal pride in and will continue to champion."
This year's theme is Give To Gain and emphasises the power of mutuality and support. It encourages people, organisations and communities to give opportunities and support women. When women thrive, we all rise. Contributing to women's advancement helps create a more supportive and interconnected world.
Keith Lasley, Chief Operating Officer at St Mirren, said: "We are proud to celebrate International Women's Day and champion the women of St Mirren FC.
"Today is an opportunity for all of us to recognise the hard work and dedication of those who contribute so much to our club."
