The Buddies defeated the Welsh side to progress to the final of the competition after goals from Stephen McGinn, Stephen Mallan, John Sutton and Rory Loy cancelled out Ryan Brobbel's opener.
Jack Ross' side will now face Dundee United in the final - 30 years on from Saints famous Scottish Cup triumph over the Arabs.
