St Mirren were defeated by Partick Thistle at the Wyre Stadium at Firhill on Friday evening as the Jags came from behind to win in the Steven Lawless Testimonial.
Saints manager Stephen Robinson used the occasion to give a run out to a number of players that haven't featured often this season, while also having a core of experienced players available.
The Buddies took a first-half lead when Malik Dijksteel opened the scoring from the penalty spot on 40 minutes. Mikael Mandron was fouled in the area by Thistle's Luke McBeth and Dutch winger Dijksteel finished from 12 yards to give Saints the advantage heading into the interval.

The hosts drew level from the spot a little over five minutes after the restart. Fraser Taylor fouled Alex Samuel and that allowed Lawless to net on his evening to make it 1-1. Thistle would go on to win the game late on with substitute Scott Martin scoring from long-range with less than 10 minutes remaining.
