Special day for Mark O'Hara as Hampden debut ends with glorious victory

A special day for St Mirren captain Mark O'Hara saw the skipper help lead the Buddies to the Premier Sports Cup Final on his Hampden Park debut.

At the age of 29, with over 350 appearances in Scottish football, the Saints midfielder finally made his first appearance at the National Stadium on Saturday as we defeated Motherwell 4-1 at the semi-final stage.

Stephen Robinson's men were ruthless in their pursuit of a place in the Final next month, earning a well deserved win over the Steelmen.

The captain admitted it had the feeling of a special day and he says the players are hungry for more.
