Form
St Mirren were on the end of a 2-0 loss to Livingston at The SMiSA Stadium on Saturday after two second-half goals gave the Lions all three points in Paisley.
Despite the defeat, the Buddies remain in 10th place in the William Hill Premiership. Craig McLeish's side are two points ahead of Kilmarnock who occupy the relegation play-off spot. A win on Saturday would see Saints leapfrog Dundee in ninth position on goal difference. Steven Pressley's men sit three points ahead of the Buddies.
Dundee suffered a 3-0 defeat away to rivals Dundee United on Sunday. The Dark Blues have lost three and drawn two of their previous five in the William Hill Premiership. Their last victory came at Dens Park when they defeated Motherwell 2-1 at the beginning of March.
In three meetings between the sides this season both teams boast a win apiece while the other finished in a stalemate. Killian Phillips scored the only goal when Saints defeated the Dee 1-0 at The SMiSA Stadium in September. Mikael Mandron gave the Buddies the lead when we travelled to Dens in November, but an own goal, coupled by goals from Drey Wright and Joe Westley, saw Dundee prevail 3-1. The last meeting finished 0-0 at The SMiSA Stadium at the end of January.
The Officials
Steven McLean is the referee on Saturday. Nick Walsh is on VAR duty.
