The Opposition
Jimmy Thelin's men know that avoiding defeat at The SMiSA Stadium on Saturday would secure their place in European competition next season.
Aberdeen come into Saturday's match following a vital victory over Hibernian at Pittodrie last weekend. Kevin Nisbet's late goal against his former side saw the Dons win 1-0 and go level with the Hibees in the William Hill Premiership in the race to finish third.
Saints have won the last two encounters between the two sides. An early Toyosi Olusanya strike followed by a double from Mikael Mandron saw the Buddies win 3-0 at Pittodrie in January. Stephen Robinson's side were also the first team to defeat the Aberdeen in the William Hill Premiership this season following their record-breaking start. Goals from Olusanya and Richard Taylor saw us win 2-1 at The SMiSA Stadium on a snowy November day.
The Officials
Ross Hardie is the referee on Saturday and he'll be assisted by Alastair Taylor and Ross Nelson.
Steven McLean is the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
