Following the phenomenal response of last year's winter warmer initiative, we will again be taking donations of winter clothing ahead of our cinch Premiership match against Livingston on Saturday 25th November.
Last November, the club, in partnership with Kibble and Scottish Leather Group, launched a winter clothes appeal which asked St Mirren supporters and the local community to donate warm clothing and jackets for those in need and we were overwhelmed with donations. The doors of the SMiSA Stadium were then opened for those who were in need of warm clothing with excess donated to charities in Renfrewshire.
After terrific support for the campaign, there will be another collection before kick-off on Saturday 25th November. Wheelie bins will be in place at each turnstile and all items will be distributed throughout Renfrewshire to those most in need.
Our fantastic volunteer group are driving this important initiative after a successful campaign last year.
