Following the postponement of Saturday's game against Spartans, supporters will have until the 10th of December to claim a refund if they bought a ticket and can't make tomorrow night's rearranged match. 

For those who paid in cash you would have to come down to the ticket office to claim the refund, whilst those who paid online can phone the ticket office (0141-840-6130) or send an email to tickets@stmirren.com 

The Family Stand will be closed for tomorrow night's match, along with the North Stand. Anyone with a ticket for the Family Stand will be able to use their ticket to access the other stands.

A pitch inspection took place at the stadium at 12:30pm today. 

Due to a problem with the under soil heating the pitch has been declared unplayable and so regrettably tomorrow's match against Spartans has been postponed. 

We are investigating the cause of the problem and will meet with our insurers next week to see if the repairs are covered under our policy of insurance.

The St Mirren Independent Supporters Association (SMiSA) is hosting an evening with the Millennium Champions on Friday 2nd December 2016.

The night will be hosted by broadcaster and Saints fan, Colin Kelly who will be joined by ex-manager Tom Hendrie along with several members of the squad from that famous season as the Buddies won promotion to the Scottish Premier League back in 1999/2000.

Tickets are on sale to all supporters for £10. However, as the event is licensed, it is only available to those who are 18 and over.

St Mirren's strategic partnership with the University of the West of Scotland has been nominated for a Times Higher Education Award.

The awards take place tonight in London with the partnership having been nominated under the Most Innovate Contribution to Business-University Collaboration category.

It's the second award the club's partnership with the UWS has been nominated for having won the Outstanding Employer Engagement Award at the Herald Higher Education Awards in Glasgow in July.

The club and the university began a joint venture at the start of the 2015/16 season with the launch of St Mirren TV - a service which is delivered by media students from the university and sees all home matches broadcast to supporters outside the UK and Ireland.

David Clarkson says that the players are working hard as they look to try and get the first league win of the season.

The striker told stmirren.com that he understands the frustrations of fans following the loss to Dunfermline on Saturday, but admitted their continued support will help as they look to turn things around.

Of course it helps," he said. "The boys are trying their best. We're doing everything we can to try and turn things around and I hope the fans know that. It might not be what they're looking for, but they've been great and hopefully they can keep getting behind us and we can turn things around for them." 

Clarkson believes that the team can turn things around and says that improved performances over recent weeks is a positive sign. 

Over the last couple of weeks performances have been better. If the performances weren't there you'd be looking at it and asking where it's going to turn. But we give everything in training every week and we're positive we can turn it around and hopefully that can show.

"It's frustrating for everybody and it's frustrating for the players as well. We'll keep working hard and eventually one of these performances will turn for us."

The 31 year-old understands his role as an experienced player during a disappointing run of form and says he'll be there to help some of the younger players get through a difficult period.

Collectively we've all got to work at it," he said. "Experienced players - whether it's helping out the young players or trying to give them bits of advice - we'll be there. 

"But like everything we're in it together, we've got to keep going and keep digging in. We are working hard in training and we just need to go and do it in the league now. 

"We are digging in, but so far we're not getting the rewards for it, so we've got to keep going and hopefully things will turn and we're positive they will." 

We recently asked supporters to send in their suggestions for what they would like to see above the tunnel areas and all the exits from all vomitories as the club looks to make changes to the Paisley 2021 Stadium.

We then collected some of the best suggestions and put them out on a poll on the website for everyone to vote on. 

We can reveal that the winner of that vote was 'Come on Ye Saints' after picking up 44% of the vote.

'Make history, you'll never be forgotten' came in second with 30% while 'Marching in Together' made up the remaining 26%. 

We would once again like to thank everyone who contributed ideas and voted on the poll. It is hoped that the new signs will be in place for the Raith Rovers game on the 10th of December. 

On Saturday 3rd December, St Mirren head to The Falkirk Stadium to face Falkirk and then three days later Saints are on the road again when they make the midweek journey to Dumfries for a Ladbrokes Championship match-up with Queen of the South at Palmerston Park.

The St Mirren Under-20 side are back in action this afternoon as they play host to their counterparts from Dundee.

The SPFL Development League encounter between the young Buddies and Dark Blues will take place at New Western Park in Renfrew and kicks off at 4:00pm.

The U20s come into this game having won their last two Development League games - beating both Partick Thistle and Hearts 2-1.

Tickets for this tie are now on sale at the St Mirren Ticket Office and the Online Ticket Shop.

For this cup tie we are offering a special family ticket for £18 which consists of 1 adult and 3 under 12 tickets. This ticket cannot be bought online, it can either be purchased at the Ticket Office in person or over the phone.  This offer is available for all stands and to both sets of fans.

Following the success of the mixed family section we hosted at last season's Scottish Cup tie against Partick Thistle, we are going to do this again for this tie.
