St Mirren Football Club is delighted to announce that Gary MacKenzie has signed a one-year contract extension.
The 33 year-old first joined Saints in July 2016 and has gone on to make 62 appearances in his three seasons at the club.
Gary has been a firm fans favourite in his time at the Buddies and was part of the Ladbrokes Championship winning side in 2017/18.
Speaking exclusively to stmirren.com, Gary said: "I'm delighted to be staying.
"It's been in place since the end of last season and I'm glad to be back and glad to be staying.
"Hopefully we can kick on from how we finished the season. For me personally I finished the season really well and I'm looking to stay fit and play more games than I did last season.
"I'm really pleased to have been able to finish the season playing well and obviously have no injury issues.
"I was just counting down the days to get back. I joke with the lads that this is actually easier being in at work than being at home with four kids! I feel pretty good."
