Alex Greive joined St Mirren on an 18-month deal in January 2022 from our partner club Birkenhead United.
The New Zealand forward had been training with Saints since the beginning of December and was awarded a deal after impressing manager Jim Goodwin.
After making his first three appearances for the Buddies, Alex was called up to the New Zealand national side and earned his first international cap.
He scored his first goal for Saints in a 2-1 win over St Johnstone before netting the opener in a Scottish Cup win against Kelty Hearts. In July 2022, Alex signed an extended contract until summer 2024.
The New Zealand striker is currently on loan at cinch Championship side Dundee United until the end of the 2023/24 season.
