The Buddies saw a five game unbeaten run come to an end after a 4-3 defeat to Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Wednesday evening. Despite the defeat, Stephen Robinson's men remain in ninth place.
Hibernian go into Saturday's match off the back of a 1-0 defeat away to Hearts in the Edinburgh derby. Their previous outing at Easter Road saw them come from behind late in the match to win 3-2 against Dundee United. That victory has put to an end a run of four without a win in all competitions after draws with Rangers (0-0) and Motherwell (1-1) and defeats to Falkirk (1-4) and Dunfermline (0-1).
David Gray's men sit in fifth place in the William Hill Premiership, level on points with sixth place Falkirk and five behind fourth place Motherwell.
Neither side could be separated when the Buddies visited Easter Road in August. Miguel Freckleton gave Saints the lead, but Rocky Bushiri's equaliser gave the hosts a share of the spoils. Hibs took the points in the last meeting between the two, winning 3-0 at The SMiSA Stadium in November.
