Form
A 2-0 loss at Kilmarnock prior to the international break was just Saints' second loss of the season. First-half goals from David Watson and Marcus Dackers saw Killie take the three points and leapfrog Saints in the William Hill Premiership.
The Buddies sit in fifth place in the league after picking up nine points from our opening seven matches. The Buddies are unbeaten at home having beaten Dundee 1-0 in our last match at The SMiSA Stadium, as well as drawing with Motherwell (0-0) and Rangers (1-1) in August. Stephen Robinson's side are unbeaten at home in the William Hill Premiership since the beginning of March.
Aberdeen picked up their first league win of the season before the break after a resounding 4-0 victory over Dundee at Pittodrie. The Dons remain at the foot of the table, but victory moved them to within two points of Dundee who sit in 11th place.
Saints have won the previous three meetings between the two sides. A Mikael Mandron strike was enough to secure a 1-0 victory for the Buddies when the sides last met at The SMiSA Stadium in May. The forward also scored a double in our 3-0 win at Pittodrie in January. Toyosi Olusanya and Richard Taylor were on the scoresheet last November when Saints inflicted a first league defeat of the season on Jimmy Thelin's men on a wintry day in Paisley.
