Stephen Robinson bolstered his squad in June 2025 with the signing of the versatile Northern Ireland international who joined on a two-year deal following the expiry of his contract at fellow William Hill Premiership side Kilmarnock.
Beginning his career at Dungannon Swifts, Liam moved to Fulham as a youngster and would have spells at Crawley Town and Hartlepool United before making the move North to join Motherwell in 2018. The 29-year-old would spend four years at the Steelmen where he scored 13 goals in 71 appearances.
Following his exit from Motherwell in 2022, Liam signed for Kilmarnock where he made 91 appearances in three seasons and was part of the Killie side that finished fourth in the William Hill Premiership in 2023/24.
