Kion Etete joined Saints during the January transfer window on loan from English League One league leaders Cardiff City for the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign.

The 24-year-old began his career at Notts County before a successful trial saw him win a move to Tottenham Hotspur in 2019. During his time with Spurs, Kion would go on loan to Northampton Town and Cheltenham Town – where he would play alongside Dan Nlundulu - before a permanent switch to Cardiff in August 2022.

Kion has made 63 appearances for the Bluebirds, scoring nine goals as well as spending time on loan at Bolton Wanderers and Rotherham United over the past year. He becomes our third signing of the January window.
