The Darby Rimmer MND Foundation and My Name'5 Doddie Foundation are working together to stage the Scottish March of the Day, a continuous 146-mile fundraising walk over two days around 22 football grounds in Scotland including The SMiSA Stadium.
Taking place between 10th-12th October, the walk will begin at Motherwell's Fir Park on Friday 10th October with The SMiSA Stadium being the final stadium stop on the Friday evening.
The walk will include many former footballers and those whose lives have been impacted by Motor Neurone Disease with all funds raised shared equally by the two charities.
This is an open event and anyone can take part. Walkers can register in groups of up to six people to walk any of the daytime stages. Registration for core walkers costs £10 per person, which covers the cost of their event t-shirts. Registration can be completed online with registration closing on Sunday 14th September.
