My Dear Friends at St Mirren FC,
It was a true honour to be a guest in the boardroom on Saturday night at the match and to meet so many of you in the Club 1877 and corporate hospitality rooms. Me, my wife Jakobina and our sons Nikulas and Isak, would like to thank you for your warm reception. After 34 years, the occasion was especially meaningful for me.
Our special thanks go to Jim Irvine, John Needham, and Tony Fitzpatrick for their generous hospitality, with everyone at the football club who made our visit so memorable along with the staff. It was a privilege to meet Sir Alex Ferguson in the boardroom, chatting, and must say his taste in red wine is exceptional and was a pleasure to share a glass - cheers.
