St Mirren have won the Premier Sports Cup! Huge congratulations to Stephen Robinson, his players and all St Mirren staff for their efforts in securing this magnificent achievement for the club.
We are sure people will enjoy celebrating across Paisley and Renfrewshire tonight and we can give supporters an update on planned celebrations taking place this evening.
No open-top bus parade is planned tonight but the team are due to appear on the balcony at Paisley Town Hall at around 7.45pm to show off the trophy to fans. The team will stay at the Town Hall for approximately one hour before departing.
To allow space for crowds to gather, there will be some road closures in Paisley town centre, from around 5.30pm until around 10pm tonight. These will cover:
- Gauze Street (from Dunn Square to Lawn Street).
- Abbey Close
- Bridge Street (from the Bridge Street car park to the entrance to Renfrewshire House on Cotton Street)
All buses which usually follow that route will be diverted via Mill Street/Causeyside Street.
Thank you for your support. Please enjoy your evening safely and responsibly.
