St Mirren Football Club can confirm that Luke Kenny has joined Arbroath on loan until the end of the season.
The St Mirren Youth Academy graduate joins the Red Lichties for season 2025/26 with Saints having the option to recall in January.
Following the successes of Fraser Taylor and Callum Penman on loan at the Angus side last season, Luke is the latest to join the William Hill Championship club in a bid to aid his development with the aim of coming back to compete for a first-team place at Saints.
The 21-year-old defender made his Scottish Premiership debut last season as a substitute in our 3-2 win away to St Johnstone in December and made further appearances in our Scottish Cup Fifth Round tie against Hearts as well as our 5-1 win over Kilmarnock in March.
The St Mirren Youth Academy graduate has made five first-team appearances during his time at the Buddies and had a successful loan spell at NIFL Premiership side Cliftonville during 2023/24 where he was part of their Irish Cup winning squad.
We wish Luke the best of luck during his time at Arbroath.
