St Mirren Football Club is delighted to announce that Mikael Mandron has agreed a one-year contract extension that sees him remain at Saints next season.
The French forward’s current deal was due to expire in the summer, but he has now put pen to paper on an extension until summer 2026.
Joining Saints in July 2023, the striker has netted 17 goals across his two seasons – with five goals in his last 10 appearances for Stephen Robinson’s men.
Speaking to stmirren.com, the manager said: "I’ve spoken about change, but it’s crucial to keep the players that have been important to us and Mika has been very important.
Mika gives us that platform up front and he is someone we wanted to keep around the club. He is a great character around the changing room.
"We’ve got a good base and we’re now looking for real pace upfront to replace Toyosi Olusanya. It’s a really good bit of business and the squad is starting to take shape again."
