St Mirren enter cooperation agreement with Albion Rovers

St Mirren Football Club can today confirm it has entered into a cooperation agreement with Lowland League club Albion Rovers.

The cooperation System was passed by clubs last year following the findings of the Scottish FA’s Transition Report published in 2024 which showed that there hadn’t been enough opportunities for younger players between the age of 16 and 21.  

The system allows the club to place a maximum of three players, who are eligible to play for the Scotland National Team and are under the age of 21, on a cooperation list. These players can then move freely between St Mirren and Albion Rovers.

As part of the agreement, goalkeeper Grant Tamosevicius and defender Innes Clark will head to Cliftonhill on cooperation loans.
