SPFL Tennent’s Sixes Squad Announcement
St Mirren Football Club can today announce our squad for the upcoming SPFL Tennent’s Sixes.
We’re delighted to confirm that Hugh Murray will take on the role of player/manager. A St Mirren great, Hugh made a club record 468 official appearances between 1997 & 2012 and won the First Division in 1999/2000 & 2005/2006 as well as the 2005 Challenge Cup.
Boasting more than 1500 appearances between the nine players, Hugh will lead a squad that consists of Ludovic Roy, Paul Rudden, Lee Mair, Scott Walker, Barry McLaughlin, Simon Lappin, Mark Corcoran and Jose Quitongo.
The SPFL Tennent's Sixes will take place on the weekend of October 3rd and 4th at Braehead Arena and all the action will be shown live on Premier Sports.
St Mirren will take on Rangers and Kilmarnock on day one before facing Celtic on day two.
