Nikolas Agrafiotis joins on a three-year deal
Saints have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of forward Nikolas Agrafiotis.
St Mirren Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Nikolas Agrafiotis on a three-year deal.
The 26-year-old forward signs a three-year deal with Saints, joining from German 3. Liga side Wehen Wiesbaden.
Beginning his career with SBV Vitesse in the Netherlands, Nikolas joined Dordrecht where he scored 12 goals in 53 appearances. In January 2022, the forward signed for Excelsior, playing in the Eredivisie with the Rotterdam side. After two years with Excelsior, Nikolas moved to Germany to sign for Wehen Wiesbaden
Nikolas is our 11th summer signing and bolsters our attacking options. With clearance received, Nikolas could make his debut against Motherwell this afternoon.
Manager Craig McLeish said: "We’re delighted to get Nikolas signed.
"We've done a lot of work over the summer on adding another striker. We've taken our time with it, we've been patient with it and we're really happy that Niko has decided to join us.
"I'm looking forward to seeing him in action. He gives us a different type of profile at the top end than what we've got. He gives us an aerial threat as well and a physical profile. He comes with a lot of experience having played top tier in Holland and played in the second tier in Germany at a really good level.
"He's still at a really good age as well where he can go and progress his career to a higher level again and we're hoping to help him do that."
"We're really excited about having him with us and it feels like one of the final pieces to add to our squad, just to give us an extra dimension."
