Opposition
Aberdeen were defeated by St Johnstone at Pittodrie on Sunday. Josh Fowler's first-half penalty was enough to secure a 1-0 win for the Perth side.
Prior to the international break, the Dons were on a three match unbeaten run in the William Hill Premiership, with draws against Kilmarnock (0-0) and Hibernian (1-1) sandwiching a 4-0 win away to Motherwell.
Stephen Robinson's side currently sit in eighth place in the William Hill Premiership on eight points, two points behind Saints who occupy seventh.
Previous
Saints have won seven of our last 10 matches against Aberdeen and were victorious in our previous two against the Dons. Goals from Richard King and Killian Phillips saw us win 2-0 on our last visit to Pittodrie back in May.
2-0 was also the scoreline when we faced the Dons at the Marbill Coaches Stadium in April. Jonah Ayunga and Alex Gogic were the scorers for Saints that afternoon.
King scored a late equaliser on our trip to Pittodrie in December last year. The Jamaican defender netted deep into stoppage time to grab a share of the spoils in a 3-3 draw in the Granite City. Marcus Fraser and Ayunga also scored for the Buddies that evening.
Aberdeen's last victory against Saints was at the Marbill Coaches Stadium last October when an injury-time effort from Marko Lazetic saw the Dons win 1-0 against the 10-men after Jayden Richardson was sent off.

John Beaton is the referee on Saturday and he'll be assisted by Chris Rae and Ross Nelson. Euan Birch is the fourth official.
